I HAVE some bad news for the scaremongers from Lock the Gate and ecology groups opposed to coal-seam gas.
The latest round of independent tests on water quality from 76 bores on the Queensland gas fields showed “no anomalous results”.
Tests on the water levels and water pressure of 303 water bores likewise showed “no negative groundwater impacts”, according to information released by the State Government Petroleum and Gas Inspectorate.
