Nicholas Heath - B. Eng (Chem), MAICD, FIChemE, SPE - Non Executive Chairman

Nick Heath has over 30 years' experience in the petroleum industry with the ExxonMobil group of companies. He was involved in the early development and commissioning of Esso's Gippsland basin oil and gas fields offshore Victoria. In 1985, he became Esso's Production Manager for the Gippsland operations at a time of peak activity and record oil production. Mr Heath subsequently became a Director of ExxonMobil Australia Pty Ltd with responsibility for Gas and Power marketing. Mr Heath has served as Chairman of the Australian Petroleum and Production Association, which awarded him the Reg Sprig Gold Medal and honorary life membership. For many years he was chairman of APPEA's Energy Policy Committee.

Peter Henderson - B. Eng (Mech), GAICD - Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

Peter Hendeson has over 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Metgasco, Mr Henderson held the position of Development Manager for Premier Oil Plc, managing major offshore project developments in Indonesia and Vietnam.
Mr Henderson started his career with Esso Australia and, over an 18 year period, worked in Australia and overseas in a wide range of roles that covered mechanical, reservoir, and process engineering, economics and planning, operations, project management, technical and planning support for refinery operations, and commercial issues. He left Esso as Operations Technical Manager. Since thenhe has held senior management roles with companies such as Santos, Western Mining, Anzon and Nido Petroleum. His experience covers operations in Australia, Indonesia, China, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Mr Henderson holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

Steven Koroknay – B.Eng, FAICD

Steven Koroknay has more than 30 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in technical, operational and senior managerial roles. Mr Koroknay commenced his career at Esso Australia Limited where he was involved in drilling, reservoir engineering and production engineering as well as being in charge of Bass Strait operations. He subsequently joined Bridge Oil Limited as Production Manager rising to Executive Director – Resources over a period of 10 years. During this period Mr Koroknay was extensively involved in the development of Bridge Oil’s Cooper Basin and Surat Basin oil and gas assets.
Most recently Mr Koroknay founded Anzon Energy and Anzon Australia which were involved in onshore operations in Indonesia and the Gippsland Basin located Basker Manta oil development, respectively. Mr Koroknay is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Sydney University. He was formerly a Councillor of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association and the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the School of Petroleum Engineering at The University of New South Wales. Mr Koroknay is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Leonard Gill

Leonard Gill has over 30 years' experience in the Australian energy industry, with a focus on power generation, energy trading and risk management and energy retailing to large customers. He is currently the Independent Chairman of the power generation and retail business, Alinta Energy. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of TXU Australia (now TRUenergy) and led their wholesale energy division for five years, with responsibilities including power generation, gas storage and gas and electricity contracting and trading.
Mr Gill holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
