Dr. Robbert Willink
Non-Executive Director
BSc(Hons), PhD
Dr. Willink has 40 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Following graduation with a first-class honours degree and the completion of his PhD in Geology, Dr. Willink embarked on a career in exploration that led through various overseas assignments to executive appointments in leading Australian Oil & Gas companies. Dr. Willink has worked for companies such as Shell, Sagasco Resources, Boral Energy and Origin Energy. Among other executive roles, Dr. Willink held the position of Executive General Manager, Geoscience & Exploration New Ventures with Origin Energy from 2005 to 2011.
Dr. Willink has held executive and non-executive director positions in the past and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland and a Director of the privately owned Timor Resources.
Since retirement from fulltime work, Dr. Willink has returned to advisory and consulting work.
Peter Lansom
Non-Executive Director
Peter Lansom holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of NSW and has over 30 years’ experience in conventional and unconventional exploration, appraisal and development, working in executive roles within ASX listed companies including Galilee Energy, Eastern Star Gas, Origin Energy and Santos.
Peter has significant expertise in subsurface engineering, asset valuation, exploration through to field development planning and commercial/corporate finance. In his recent roles Peter has gained significant experience in Australian equity and capital markets. He has held senior roles including Chief Petroleum Engineer for Origin Energy and Executive Director – Operations at Eastern Star Gas, with overall engineering responsibility for the exploration and pilot development of the company’s coal seam gas assets in NSW which resulted in certifying 3P reserves of over 3500 PJ over a 5 year period, and saw the company grow to a $900 million market capitalisation.
Over the past eight years Peter has been Managing Director of Galilee Energy and has overseen the significant growth of this company as it seeks to grow from explorer to become a significant new gas supplier into the Eastern Australia gas market. Peter is currently a non-Executive Director for Metgasco Ltd and Bengal Energy Ltd.
